I am primarily interested in studies related to European and American urban cultures.
For the past three years, I have been exploring the theories of urban culture propounded by Benjamin,
Kracauer, and De Certo. In the future I aim to focus my research on reconstructing their studies on everydaylife
and culture from a transnational perspective and seek to find a way to apply the research in the space and time of the 21st century,
a time in which the borders of nation states are dissipating increasingly. |
